Recommended Further Study

If you have enjoyed this study and wish to continue deeper, I strongly recommend the course written by Ram Butler, Living in the Truth of the Present Moment. It is one of my favorites and picks up right where this one leaves off by explaining how thoughts create our perceptions and experience every moment of every day.

A Note on Terminology: While I use the term "hardwired thoughts," D.R. Butler utilizes the Sanskrit term, samskaras. To help you bridge the two perspectives, look for these "tip-offs" and synonyms within his lessons:

Synonyms for Samskaras: Egotistical melodramas, prior or past conditioning, false beliefs, limited knowledge, negative emotions, and habitual reactions.

Key Vocabulary: The mind, the ego, projections, past ways of thinking, tendencies, descriptions, and limiting thoughts.
